He was absolutely one of the best of all time IMHO, especially his portrait work.

His Platinum print still-lives were also stunning.

He was clearly one of the finest modernist artists of the 20th century, regardless of the medium.

Thanks for posting that Joe. The Picasso portrait may be one of my favorite photos ever. It just works, on so many levels.

I like the Picasso too. Many of his portraits have a cockeyed dysmorphic quality that I find interesting.

I have a silver print of "Cuzco Children" and a platinum print of "Man in White, Woman in Black." They are wonderful.
