Hi all ? pictures to come, Quartered-maple finish on both from a non-smoking, no-child environment. I?ve decided to go with a more uniform approach with my emerging Shindo system, and have decided to part with my excellent Omega Loudspeaker system. As most/all of you know, Louis Chochos is a dream to work with and develops/produces truly wonderful single-driver systems. I originally added the Cubes to augment the LF spectrum for the XRS for use with home theater, but I really didn?t use them much for that purpose.
The Omega 5XRS (
http://omegaloudspeakers.com/products/super5series#xrs) have the latest non-alnico Hemp drivers from Louis and are in pristine condition. The Omegas have been stacked atop the Cubes.
The Omega DempHemp Cubes (
http://omegaloudspeakers.com/products/deephempseries) are in two conditions: One of the Cubes is pristine; the other has black marks on the top, as a byproduct from use of rubber/cork Isopads between the 5XRS and the Cubes. Other than the finish marks, reflected in reduced price, the speaker is in perfect order. To be honest, with the system mounted atop each other, you do not see the marks at all.
