How's it sound in comparison to the monitor? Is the additional volume a benefit?

No difference from the monitor. The internal volumes are the same sealed or ported.

Hi Rick,

Are you able to tell us how much these speakers cost?

Thanks

Simple and direct cosmetics.  Portrays no wasted expense or energy.  Looks all business.    I like it!  :thumb:

Reminds me very much of the Proac Response 2.5 I once owned.

Thanks for your comments. Our customer was on a tight budget so we simplified the cabinets to lower the cost while maintaining the sonic integrity of the design.

As the owner and future recipient of the Prestigio floorstanders, I don't think I could ask for anything better from Rick.  Intrigued by the Prestigio monitor, but not interested in using stands, I asked Rick if he could do the Prestigio in a floorstander.  I placed my faith in Rick's expertise and he did a wonderful job.  Thanks, Rick--I am anxious for delivery.

Rick drove from NC and delivered the Prestigo floorstanders Saturday morning; along with, surrounds, subwoofer and center channel.  Great guy and I am delighted with his work.  I have only had a chance to briefly listen to the main speakers, but very impressed so far.  Thanks, Rick,  for the great job on a truly wonderful pair of loudspeakers.

Hi,

Great looking speakers and you will really like the seas excel mid/bass drivers.

I can't identify what tweeter was used in the speaker?

Regards

Rod

I am pretty sure the tweeter is a RAAL 70-20XR.

This is Rick's standard cherry finish.  Nothing standard about the performance which is simply spectacular.

I'm curious as to what sort of dye you use? Aniline (sp?) dye?

It looks almost like the tweeter isn't flush mounted.  Is that true?  If so, do you have to do anything in the crossover to compensate?
