I'm thinking of going to the NYC show at the beacon. Never used any online ticket brokers. Which ones are trustworthy, and how does the ticket transaction usually work. I would leave for NY Thursday night. 8 hour drive...

Thanks,
G

No need for a ticket broker...just go direct to Beacon web site and purchase tix. It's not sold out. Opt to print the tickets now instead of receiving them in the mail.

It's not sold out.  Go to Beacon Theater site and click on buy tickets.  Stubhub is reliable but why pay brokerage fee?

Edit: Got beat. I was a little late with the keyboard.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I should have said I was looking for really good seats, checked the beacon site, and the only ticks available are upper balcony. If im driving that far I'm willing to pay for some really good seats. I've seen some front row or first few rows around $100. I was planning on going to the Baltimore show, but probably can't, so only option is NYC. Falls on my fall break also.
I'll have to pull the trigger tomorrow if I want to go. I do have some family in the city, maybe I'll check craigslist. Some of the sites list emailable tickets...trustworthy?

edit.. ticketluck is one of the sites I was looking at, they claim lower fees, and some of the tickets look good...any thoughts on them?

The upper balcony at the Beacon isn't bad at all since it's a small, intimate  theater ... that's where I'll be sitting for the Lyle Lovett show  :banana piano:

Cool, good to know. There are some good first few rows loge seats for not to much, may get those tonight  :thumb:

And with the money you save you can have a few drinks at their bar  or have a nice meal out  8)
