well, i got the shaft from a'gon.  bought a set of tara labs prism 500 sub cables but what i got was one cable and one y adapter...and the cables were discontinued a long time ago and cant be found.  so, can i use another brand's cable or is it best to do a set from the same manufacturer?

my preamp has two outputs so am using one as a dedicated out for the sub.

I always like keeping the channels matched, although it probably doesn't make a lot of difference. For me, it's just best practice. The RCA cables do not need to be anything real trick or costly. Just good quality . . .
