excellent pair of classic gold reference (not the towers - these are the best from the classic gold line and extremely hard to find),  I also have a pair of equally tough to find ac-850 large bookshelves.  These are both sleepers fropm the 90s that are very balanced, efficient (92 db/8 ohm), and love to ROCK!  They use Seas drivers, have heavy cabinets, and were designed by a guy who knew what he was doing.  i have recently decided that i have too many speakers, and i would consider trade for integrated amp that is also a bit of a sleeper.  I am in NY.

the classic gold are quite good sounding and easy to drive with a small footprint for a floorstander.  the ac-850 have simialr sonic signature, and equally easy to drive, and have a slightly more lush sound.  Would prefer local NY pickup, but can ship for extra charge.  here are links to reviews of the classic gold reference and the ac-850:
