LARGE GROUP OF VACUUM TUBES (THOUSANDS) PLUS TESTERS AND MORE - $5000 (OBO)/Trade considered.
I have been picking up groups of vacuum tubes for resale, and just do not have the time or motivation to continue, so I would like to clear them out if possible.
Many of the tubes are still in the box, and many are loose. Some in the box are NOS, and some are not. I do not have a list (way, way too many), but I can try to answer whether certain tubes may or may be present.
The group is too large to reasonably ship, so this is is a LOCAL SALE ONLY. I am in Chadds Ford (PA), which is reasonably close to Phildelphia, Wilmington(DE), Baltimore, Mid/Southern New Jersey, Lancaster and Harrisburg areas.
Included in this group are some good audio and guitar tubes, including HUNDREDS of 6SN7 types, 12A_7 types, 6FQ7/6CG7, 6V6 types, 6BQ5/EL84, ham tubes and more.
Also included is a recently repaired and calibrated Hickok 752A tube tester, as well as a couple of lesser testers (an Eico 666 w/ 610 adapter, and an Eico 667).
I am willing to sell the tubes separately from the testers, but I will not sell the testers separately until the tubes are sold.
I am not selling individual tubes via this ad - ONLY the group.
Other odds 'n ends are included as well, for example, a couple of tube caddies, a bunch of Sam's Photofacts and other literature, and whatever else I can find to include.
I will be keeping a relatively small number of tubes (and tube testers) for personal use (mainly 6AS7G, some 12AT7s, some 6SN7s and a couple of others), as well as a group of tubes I am selling on consignment (but you can make an offer to include those as well). There are also a few related items I am keeping but will consider offers (like an OTTO-1 tester for power tube matching, and even a couple of audio pieces).
Trade interests would be pretty broad in the audio/visual area on this, even including things like a projector (to upgrade my current setup), and SACD and DVD-A discs (but not really tuners or turntables, and very limited on speakers).
Please email with any questions.
