A bit of a dilema...
I used to own a Dussun V8i , Esound E5 cd and Monitor Audio GR20 speakers , I loved the sound from that system but sold up a few years ago to fund a different venture.
I've recently bought a new hifi, consisting of a Primare I30+CD21, MHDT Havana (for PC audio) and Dali H400 speakers and although it sounds great, when playing some CDs, I feel I'm missing something that the Dussun used to give me... pin point near 3d imaging and a great soundstage.
I'm tempted to order another Dussun, but spending 1100GBP on importing another based on a cloudy memory from 2 years ago is a bit of a risk.
Has anyone here had experience of both the Primare and the Dussun amps, and if so, which do you think would drive the Helicons the best ?
