I'm placing an order and I thought I'd offer the group octets of KT88 Genalex re-issues at:

KT88 Genalex re-issue - $375 matched octet / matched quads at $190. SHIPPED IN USA

This is a decent discount, but the real bonus is having them tightly matched on the highly accurate (+/- 1%) Amplitrex AT1000.

They will be ordered matched, and then tested on my Amplitrex AT1000 and matched by me as tightly as possible (1st by plate current then gm).

 If there is interest in KT66, KT77, or EL84 (N709) Genalex re-issues, please post here and we can build up to another buy soon.

Only a few caveats:

Please pay via Paypal with a Personal Payment up front; these are not subject to 3%. Then you will need to to provide your mailing address via email

Please be patient. There will be at least 48 tubes rolling in at once that I will have to test and match, pack, and ship.

Thanks doc! That's a nice price. 

I heard these for the first time on Tuesday at a friends house, in Music Ref RM9. They sounded really great in that amp. Better than other tubes he has tried.

Hi Jim,

I'm currently out of those; I just let the last few go to a guitar player who received some Mullard re-issues direct from the New Sensor factory. They were supposed to be matched, but weren't (mistake on the order) and my guess is were never even tested after they came off the line. He reported on stage failure of those EL84s. 

Gotta test them, and even when "matched" by the factory.
