Any plan on a new multiamp. ?
« on: 14 Sep 2009, 04:53 pm »
Since it seems to be a new mono amp based on new V3 tech. Will it as well be a new multiamp 7-channel amp with same tech ?
If so, roughly how long time after mono amp. release ?

Hi Jason,

Will I be able to replace my V2 boards to V3 on the MCH3SE-C7 as well?

Thanks in advance,

Kenobi

Yes, but because it is going to be expensive $300/channel to upgrade all 7 modules in the MCH, we recommend that people upgrade only the L and R, may be C at most. It is too wasteful to upgrade the other channels :).

The new V3 based MCH are MCH-300C7SE (MSRP $6000), MCH-300C7, MCH-200C5 (same style, we just raised the price by 20% or less depending on model).  The cost of V3 module is higher than V2 and we've under priced our MCH too much.

Hi Jason,

Thank you.  You are corect that it is cost prohibitive to do all 7 channels.  I'll look into the front 2 channels first then.  This could be self-installed correct?  Patiently waiting for the release date.

Thank you,

Kenobi

Are the new multichannel V3 amps keeping the same chasis as the V2 multichannel amp?

Hi Jason..
Great news.
1.Will new V3 based amps. sound even better once again hooking up to "Blacknoise" Filter ?
2. Will V3 amps be released in Europe ( Sweden ) at the same time as in USA ?

Regards from Sweden

We are releasing V3 worldwide simultaneously but due to different ordering schedule etc, V3 will probably show up in Sweden around mid October. MCH V3 upgrade won't be ready until late October.
For the meantime, enjoy your V2
