Of the wines I've drunk one stands out as the most delicious and it is Chateau Brane Cantenac 2005 a Bordeaux and tellingly I drank mine rather quickly. It worked out at about twenty eight pounds a bottle plus VAt plus duty when I bought it En Primeur from

Another pleasing wine though not in the same class I bought at the recomendation of my local off licence is a monastic white wine from Italy Fiano Di Avellino Dei Feudi Di San Gregorio 2006. This cost fifteen pounds for the bottle and has such well balanced flavours and such a lovely subtle taste that it is very very good indeed.
