This unit was graciously donated to me a while back by a fellow AC member, and it's been collecting dust for some time now.   I'm trying to clean house (ok, just the man cave), so I thought I'd pass it along to someone who might be able to put it to use.

The DAC and the 12V battery are both enclosed in a black ABS case, so it's self-contained.  The only hitch is that you'll need to supply a battery charger with the appropriate barrel connector, but I'll make sure the battery is fully charged before shipping.

I'll send it off to one AC member, selected using a sophisticated algorithm, who sends me a PM with their mailing address and a good reason as to why they should have it.  Shipping is on me (as is the DAC itself, to be clear) .

I can't PM you so I'll just have to put my reason out here in the open.  I would actually like for everyone to know what my reason is anyway.

Reason: I would like to auction it off with all the proceeds being donated to the Wounded Warriors Project.  Being a war veteran myself, I feel that it's the least we can do for all the war veterans coming back home and facing a laundry list of difficulties.  I fortunately came back home and have not faced any hardships but I know of many that face challenges on a day-to-day basis.

I'm already going to be auctioning off a NOSValves refreshed and completely updated H.H. Scott 222C as soon as it's ready.  It will ship directly from Craig of NOSValves after being cleared and 100%.

If I'm the lucky one to get the Monica 2, I will couple the proceeds to what I get from the auctioning of the 222C that I'm donating from my audio collection.  I'm very blessed and would like to do a little something for the rest of my brothers serving our great country.

Again, my apologies for not being able to PM but would like to be considered for the reason stated above.

There were several deserving folks, but as I have a cousin preparing for a second tour in Iraq, the DAC will be going to vman71, in the hopes that it will do the most good.
