Modwright Platinum Truth Sony 9100ES with the external tube rectified power supply. Original owner (two years). Just checked out at Modwright (from where it will be shipped) and fitted with a new optical block (laser) and heavy duty ribbon cable. This unit has Bybee filters on the Power Supply only, not on the analog outs, as I found that too many Bybees thin out the midrange. It has the Acoustic Zen PS umbilical and a new faceplate for the PS chassis.
This unit has also had the PS chassis hole enlarged by Modwright to allow for the use of GZ32/5V4s and GZ37/5U4s (but not the High Wycombe GZ37 as the hole - through miscommunication - was not made quite large enough for it although it could be done), as well as the (stock) GZ34/5AR4s.
I will include a lightly used Mullard GZ34/5AR4 (labelled GE, 1961 Blackburn code), a '60s NOS Mullard GZ32/CV593, and a '60s ANOS Blackplate RCA 5U4GB. The 5687 output tubes are either Tung Sol or Raytheon (I don't remember which and couldn't hear a difference between them anyway) and are about a 1000 hours old, leaving about another 2000 hours of life.
