Mini-Hornfest Gathering near Columbia, SC, Sept. 19th 

I posted this in the NC Land thread but wanted to make sure folks saw it in case it's of interest:

Single-driver speaker and tube fans in the Carolinas (and elsewhere) might want to drop by Mini-Hornfest outside Columbia, SC on Sept. 19th. We'll be treated to the return of Jim Dowdy's (aka "The Dowdy Llama") $30,000 GM-70 tube amp playing through Ed Schilling's Horn Shoppe Model 1 Horn speakers (sorry, no Model 3s since they sold).

Feel free to bring your own amp, source and music, if you like.

This Mini-Hornfest is still on for Sept. 19th about 30 minutes outside Columbia, SC.

In addition to hearing the crazy $30k "Dowdy Llama" GM-70, Steve Deckert says he's sending over the new Decware Mini Torii for us to try, too! At $1,495, it's something we might be able to afford! Supposed to be a nice match with Ed's Horn Shoppe Model 1 speakers.
