BP-26: weirdness with remote control
« on: 6 Sep 2009, 05:44 pm »
Dear knowledgeable Brystonians,

I'm the satisfied owner of a BP-26 linestage and a BP-26MC.

Recently, I noticed that the green light on one of the remotes flashes constantly. It still functions normally, but since the other remote does not exhibit this behaviour, I figure something's amiss.

At first, I thought it was some kind of "battery low" signal, but installing a fresh battery made no difference.

I've never had to get a remote control repaired, but I suppose there's a first time for everything.

Can anyone enlighten me on this curious phenomenon?

TIA,

Joel.

I'd call Bryston and see what they say(unless you already did)
If  I'm right the remotes have a 20yr. warranty.
Perhaps she need a code input to set her right.
