Does anyone know good or bad about this site?  I have been checking out alot of groups I have never heard of.....

Is your question about Archive.org?  If so, its been around forever and yes its very good.

Yes, I think the site is cool.....although I am getting some clicks and pops (i.e. occasional static) on many of the files.  Do you get the same thing?

I have to say I never noticed any abundance of snap/crackle/pop anywhere but my cereal.
Most of what I picked up there were things like the Grateful Dead and they were pretty good.
I know that for instance, any soundboard recordings for the Dead were removed I think, so that all that remained were audience tapes.  I imagine audience tapes have more snap and crapple from uncontrollable sources like the rest of the audience.  I guess it depends on the source....
