Before my wife kicks my butt, and you guys never see me again......
Is there a way to retrieve photographs from an SD card that I deleted?

Yep - I use a free program called Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery - http://www.z-a-recovery.com/digital-image-recovery.htm
