I enjoyed making the various enclosures for Bugle and several Cornets over the past years but the Lansing box has convinced me to save my woodworking for speakers and furniture. BTW, I came across a spring loaded marking tool by Proxxon, 10 bucks at Woodcraft, that made placing the holes a snap; best alignment I've realised yet. Bang! goes the proxxon, then a 1/8" drill bit and then one of my step drill bits.
After one whole side of one record just to cjeck for channels and hum, It's sounding great. Did I say hum? What hum? Zero hum! aa aa aa
I have to go back and listen some more, although the weather is beautiful today in these Smoky Mts., a rarity for a day off this wet, wet Summer.
