Greg Ball GBD150 SKA

Nice sounding greg ball ska amp, gbd150 modules.  400va toroid, 40800uf capacitance, Vampire connectors.  Dead silent operation.  Check threads for sonic reviews, great amp.  My impressions, love it but can get another one built someday and madness of this hobby.  Very relaxing graceful sound, clear airy highs, deep bass.

Thanks,

About 125wpc into 8 ohms as greg ball gives 40-55volt range to run these, but the 55volt recommended to stay at 8 ohms.   Using 47 volt rails.
Vampire bphex binding posts, standard rca input.  No balance input stage little unique and not provisioned for balanced feed.

I am completely in the dark about this amp and its heritage.  Is it a digital amp, per se, with a pair of modules placed into the nice cabinet?  They share the transformer?

Does it get very hot?  Can you post a rear shot or email me one?

Hi,

That is a beautiful looking chassis who built it for your?  Is it diy?  I'd buy it but I live in Australia.
