Well, I guess I am now in the Odyssey Audio Club!

Just bought a used Stratos Plus and it should be here on Wednesday.  Will be very interesting to hear how it sounds compared to the Yamaha MX-1000U it is replacing.  Any thoughts or tips for a newbie??

Congrats, you're really going to enjoy this amp.  First thing is plug it in, turn it on, and just leave it on playing music.... for several days.  They take a fair amount of warm up to sound their best, but it will definitely be worth it.

They're used, so should be fully broken in, no?

Yes, but even after leaving them off from vacations, the sound improves a day or so later after they get turned back on.
