And for those of you who don't like mono and can't imagine listening to The Beatles in mono, then take some time and hear MMT, Pepper and the White Album. Different mixes, different layering, wayyyy better bass in most cases (this is not a review of 2009 vs earlier, just my comment on the monos in general).

Unless I am wrong the earliest Beatles Albums were issued in Mono and Stereo versions:Example:First UK Album was Please Please Please Me Parlophone PMC 1201 (mono) 22 March 1963 and the Stereo version PMC 3042 on 26 March 1963.Source 'The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions" by Mark Lewishon.Alex
