Good luck with that! I've had a DAC 2.7 Platinum since it was new and cannot part with it as I like it so much. I've looked for a 3.1 just about every day on Audiogon for the last five years to no avail. One came up for sale a couple years ago that I just missed.

Yep, I had a 2.6 a few years ago, and sold it....one of the most stupid things I've done!  :duh: I'd love to get one back....people seem to get them, and keep them....I wish I did... :cry:

I agree..they are quite amazing..

I have an assemblage DAC 2.0 which is heavily modded and in a DAC comparision it edged out a Reference AUdio Modded City Pulse DAC 2.03SE with 3000$ worth of mods in it.

This isn't really an indication of good performance cause the Citypulse is a poor platform to start with and RAM did a horrible job of modding it.

ANyways..I have found myself a DAC 2.6 BUt I am still interested in a DAC 2.7 which has a PMD200 filte rin it.
