For sale is a beautiful custom center channel speaker / monitor. The center channel is among the most important components of a good home theater. A great center channel makes you feel like you are in the movie!
This center channel speaker was custom built by Solen in Montreal to take advantage of the legendary sound of PMC Loudspeakers. The enclosure is front-ported and delivers unparalleled, distortion-free sound to very high levels if desired.
The ScanSpeak tweeter is precise, airy and non-fatiguing. The ATC 3" wide dispersion, dome midrange driver has a distinct and pleasing sound. Some say it is the best midrange driver on the planet. The 12" Volt Radial driver is the one that PMC uses in their top-of-the-line models. Its performance is excellent under even the most demanding conditions. The enclosure has been customized to very precise standards. It does not use a transmission line to over-emphasize lower harmonics. What you hear is what is intended by the artist.
This center channel is very enjoyable to listen to, and is extremely neutral. It has a frequency response of 29Hz to 30kHz. With appropriate amplification, you will never require a subwoofer. This center channel would be equally at home in an audiophile / home theater room as it would be in the professional studio. It has been painstakingly cared for. It has NEVER been driven hard, and the drivers are all in mint condition. This has been used less than 200 hours total.
DESIGN
3-way, bi-wirable. RMS power handling of up to 600W into 8 Ohm. Ciamara provides ultra-high end, high current amplifiers, in case you are interested in getting a very high quality amplifier that will make this loudspeaker shine. I previously powered this with a Krell KAV-1500, which is 5-channel amplifier delivering 300W into 8 Ohm per channel.

SHIPPING
I live in New York (Financial District, Manhattan). Auditions are welcome for serious inquiries. While I'd prefer pickup, I will ship worldwide. The speaker will be professionally crated and sent via a reputable carrier and insured. I have sent speakers all over the world and know how to do it properly. For those overseas, I may be willing to split shipping costs to ease the burden. This is within the weight restrictions for FedEx and UPS.
