Can you cover your room treatment with GOM

Hi,

Can your room treatments be covered with acoustically transperent material like GOM 701??? (Guildford of Maine)

This might make it more appealling for the WAF and for room design.

Just Wondering.

As long as the fabric is truly sonically transparent, this will work with minimal negative effect.  The more absorptive it is, the more it will negate what the product is doing.

Experiment and report on your findings.  I'd love to know what you think.

I was surfing the net looking for some hardwood flooring for my new house and ran into this site. BTW, I  have no affiliate with this company in any way and just pass it along for some discussion.

http://surfacingsolution.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=browse&id=167748&pageid=68

Description:
Pyramid 2'x2' foam panels are available in 2" thickness (#PP2,$13 ea frt pd)
Sound Absorption
The angled design of the 2'x2' Pyramid foam panels offers significantly greater surface area than flat surfaces, maximizing the effective area of acoustical control. The angled foam deflects and disperses the sound waves, allowing the open-cell foam to convert the sound energy into quiet, kinetic energy.

The price looks very affordable to me. So what do you guys think of this material?
