This speaker uses a first-order cross-over network. The sonics due to the first-order cross-over are very life-like & real. They sound like a band is playing in your room.
This pair was originally sold as an ?i? (improved) version directly from the factory (unlike many other pairs that were sold as C1.5 & later shipped back to the factory for an ?i? upgrade). This unit has the original Audax 10? woofer (many pairs had blown woofers that had to be replaced using Scanspeak equivalents).
