Okra flower - each flower yields an Okra in 3-4 days. They have to be picked at the right time (3-4 inches long) or they will get too tough to eat. The green bud will be another flower is an Okra. Notice the ant, and the gnat on the flower.

Tomatoes

Jalapeno

Cucumber forming behind its flower

Tomatoes detail - notice the wilted flower attached underneath

Morning glory in the afternoon - They open fully each morning and fold back in about noon - amazing. This is a wild plant.

These were all shot with my 18-200mm lens, most at about 18 inches.

Ah... is that what a morning glory looks like. I've seen a few around here - these ones got tangled up when closing - I couldn't figure out how they got like this but it makes sense now.

That's amazing - the flower has to be "rubbery" to open and close every day, so there must be a lot of friction when thay make contact - yours are more purple where mine are red. They must be a different variety as you can see from different leaves. I will try to get them in the morning when they are in their full "Glory".

This is a Carpenter Bee, I believe, on the Okra Flower. I wonder if it's the same one that bored into my shovel handle?

I would assume Carpenter Bees would pollinate much like Honey Bees. He definitely is carrying some pollen.
