Product of the week - TJ Full Music 12AX7 tubes
« on: 11 Aug 2009, 11:44 pm »
This week we are featuring the TJ Full Music 12AX7 tubes. They are uniquely designed with box plate and gold pins. Reviewed by ToneAudio magazine:

"This tube showed an improvement across the board.  Dynamics were increased, with extension at both ends of the frequency scale, without any harshness."

Many of our tube amp customers choose to replace their amp's stock 12AX7 tubes with the TJ Full Music ones. Results are deeper bass, refined high's and beautiful mid's. The change is like a component upgrade, not a simple tube roll.

These tubes are on special this week until mid-night next Monday (August 17th). If you are ordering more than one pair, contact us for shipping discount.

Hi Ed,

The TJ 12AX7 (and 12AU7, 12AT7 coming soon) has been designed from the ground up for low noise high-end audio pre-amp applications, there isn't a 'low noise' designation. I run them in our phono-stages (MC and MM) and pre-amps and have not noticed any noise issues even with borderline to spec tubes. We test all for zero Heater to Cathode leakage and zero gas created current, these two items if not zero can cause noise in tubes. We also of course test for microphonics and section matching as part of our testing and matching service with our Amplitrex AT-1000.

Cheers,
Ian
