Very reluctantly selling my MG DT OTL headamp. The amp is in perfect condition, black in color, and will come with the original tubes (which are quite decent) and a pair of reissue genalex Gold Lion N709/EL84s and a double mica RCA red label 5751 which take the performance up another several notches. These tubes have only about 30 hours on them and would cost over $100 to buy separately.
This unit works great with my Senn HD-650s and is known to be one of the better amps available for the Senns. I couldn't recommend this amp for low impedance headphones like Grados or Denons, but Senns and Beyers and any other higher impedance phones should be fine.
Can be switched on the fly from transformer coupled outputs to OTL mode, and has two 1/4" jacks for two pairs of cans. Separate power supply chassis with umbilical. Tube complement is 2 x el84 and one x 12ax7/5751.
Unit is in excellent condition and has had no problems whatsoever.
Price is $350 with both sets of tubes. Shipping included in lower 48 and no paypal fee to the buyer.
