Need to sell this Nixon Dac.  I've been going the USB route lately and could really use the $ to fund a Nixon USB DAC purchase.

The signal path wiring has been upgraded to Ridge Street Audio's pure silver 22awg cotton insulated wire bought directly from Robert.  The DAC is mounted in a solid Cocobolo box with the upgraded power supply mounted in the chasis and wired directly.  This DAC also has the switchable filter.  Top of the chasis is a removable black acrylic panel with hole cut in it for the tube.  The front cocobolo burl panel has a perforated steel vent hole for air flow across the tube and a neat view of the tube at night.  Cocobolo box is finished in wax.

Find another Nixon Dac in one of those plastic boxes or better yet buy one from Scott with no box to save some $ and I'll make you a sweet enclosure...I have plenty of Cocobolo burl and other exotic wood in my studio

I've had his USB DAC for about a year and have yet to find anything I like better.  It's tough to beat a Nixon DAC, especially if you like the non-oversampling sound.

 aaI bought the Scott Nixon Tube DAC with Custom Cocobolo case.  It is beautiful and sounds wonderful, but I have decided that I am a solid state kinda guy, so it is up for sale for what I paid for it which is $425.    Postage and pay pal is only $25 more.
