40th Abbey Road Anniversary.

Hey!

40 years ago today a photograph was taken of 4 men crossing a small street in London called the "Abbey Road"...

Turn out to be one of the best know album cover of all time in music history.

We went to London a couple of years ago. I will forever be kicking myself for not finding that intersection and getting the shot.

Here's me back in my August 2001 London trip. It's funny, this camera angle is dangerous; the road behind the camera (my buddy is taking the pic) is curved and cars approach very blindly. You run out there, take a look for like two blocks, then get into "Stroll" mode.

Great shot.

I like the skid mark that runs just behind your foot and ends on the other side of the crosswalk! Looks like someone else was taking the infamous picture, didn't check around the blind curve and the oncoming car slammed on the brakes ...a little late!
