I was getting ready to build my N2X kit (as soon as it arrives), but I ran across a detail in the front baffle that I want to check on.  The PDF says to countersink the top hole (for the Neo-3), but the pictures I have seen of builds in progress seems to show counterbores instead.  (I am not a seasoned woodworker, so I use these two terms as they are defined on wikipedia:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Countersink and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counterbore.)

Do the designs indicate a counterbore where they say "countersink," or do I really need to cut the inset at an angle?  I don't mean to be pedantic, so please forgive me if I sound like I'm nit-picking.  I bought prefab boxes from Parts Express, and I don't want to damage them by misunderstanding the design.

Thanks in advance for the help!

The baffles I bought from Eric have the tweeter in a counterbore by the wikipedia definition.

Those baffles are mounted on my PE boxes for the N2X.

Thanks for the quick response, HAL.  It's good to know that a counterbore works---I can do those.  A countersink. . . not so much.  :-P

Basically, the same thing. The tweeter is mounted so that it is flush with the front baffle.
