I have been using Simplifymedia with great joy.
Until the moment that it was automatically upgraded on my MacMini.
This happened a few months ago. I have been contacting the people from Simplifymedia several times. They made me do all kind of things, non of them worked. It were the typical type of windows restart reload etc. requests. The don't answer anymore to my questions.

What happens is that when I start SimplifyMedia on my mini it stops during an initialization/indexing proces. I have tried clean reinstalls, reboots of pc, router and cable-modem. Nothing worked.

Did someone face the same or similar problems and found a Fix?

Please help. The application is wonderfull when in operation.

If you haven't already, you may want to try AppZapper (shareware) or AppCleaner (free) to uninstall the application. After that, repair permissions (or run a utility like Disk Warrior) and then try a fresh install.

Thanks for the advice. I have used appcleaner and disk repair without succes. I will try the other combination.

I have tried appzapper with permission correction.
No succes. The other application has prohibitive cost to invest in a potential solution.

Made a new account as well. Still facing the same problem.

Downloaded the new version available this week.
And it is back working
I doubt whether there was something on my side
