After about 60 hours running the Cornet2 with the Telefunkens, I changed the 12AU7 with a Bugle Boy. This combination is awesome, really like it. The sound and soundstage are even better than the Telefunken 12AU7's. I think I will stick with this combination for a while, maybe another 50 hours or so before trying the Mullards 12AX7's. The rectifier tube is a Pope 5AR4/GZ34, I will try the 6106 once it arrives.

Hi Demsy,

Thanks for the offer.  I can do the same for you when I visit Jakarta.  It just so happens I'm also using the Bendix 6106.  I curious to know how it compares to the Philips 5Y3G.  Do give us an update when you can.
