www.merlinmusic.com These started life as VSM-MX's when I ordered them new from Merlin Music in 2006. They were upgraded in May to VSM-MXe (lead free) status, including new bi-wire Cardas jumpers, RC networks, Z-Feet, and then gently broken in again over the past few weeks. I also upgraded the SBAM with new higher current batteries and lead free power cord. This SBAM has both single ended RCA and balanced XLR inputs and outputs, which is basically a double unit internally. The finish is a beautiful piano black in nearly perfect condition. The grill covers are still in the bag. I had them repair a small 1mm nick on the inside surface while they were back at the factory and I'll be darned if I can find where it was now. From the listening chair they are like black mirrors and listening sessions always bring a smile to your face.
