This unit doesn't know the words and hums a little.  I put a connector on it to replace the stock multi-voltage connector so you can hook directly to your SB.  The connection from the transformer to the SB is 6 feet so you can move it out and away if the hum is too much for you.  I can hear it when no music is playing, but certainly not during.
