Those who've heard Linn speakers know how underappreciated they are. In spite of the rave Stereophile reviews years ago, I was surprised myself when I heard them. Here's what S'phile had to say about them in their Recommended List:
"Borderline Class B, according to RH (Robert Harley), who enjoyed this Scottish speaker's tuneful bass, uncolored midrange, generally clean treble, and most importantly, seamlessly musical and involving overall presentation. RH says he would choose the Keilidh over all other loudspeakers in class C." Class C included classics like the Vandersteen 2CE and B&W Matrix 804 at the time.
This pair is in great condition and has had the tweeter caps and resistors upgraded. They are noticeably better sounding than stock. Astonishing value for your $475, IMO.
