I'm selling a used Van Alstine ULTRA DAC with current specs (includes Burr Brown (now TI) OPA 627 ics in the first filter stage). The item is in great condition and retails for $1699.
It was owned and built by one of Van Alstine's engineers and was bench-tested by Frank Van Alstine himself. The serial number is 032408 and the AVA contact phone is 651-330-9871 if you wish to confirm authenticity and build date.
I picked up the DAC after seeing the great price on ebay. The item sounds great as users on this forum can attest, but I've consolidated to a DAC/PRE combo and don't need a stand alone in my shoebox condo.
I have 100% positive feedback on ebay under the name "ArlingtonAudiophile" and will be shipping from Arlington, VA.
