Does itunes have a mini player mode when running under Microsoft Vista? If so how does one switch to it?

View > Switch to Mini Player or Ctrl + M.   Same for any Windows OS with iTunes version 8.

Under Edit > Preferences > Advanced you can also enable a checkbox if you want it to always be on top of other windows.
