Really deep bass CD's needed

Hi I'm sure there's information about this scattered through the recommended CD's thread, but I really would appreciate some thoughts on CD's that have very low, clean bass content, either transient or continuous (like organ). I'm having about 20 people over next weekend to listen to various DIY speakers and The Beasts, and I'm not totally happy with the bass material I have. Thanks!

If you want good, really deep organ music, you can get the demo CD from the Boston Audio Society. Hsu research used to package it with their subwoofers as a demo. http://www.bostonaudiosociety.org/bas_cd.htm

Here are a couple of less deep, but items I like to use for demo sometimes:

Cantate Domino is kind of an audiophile classic - it's a combination of organ and choral music. The beginning organ track looks to have a strong amount of content around 40Hz. Their version of Julsang (track 11) is fantastic and a great demo for larger speakers.

Alicia Keys - Piano & I - Songs in A Minor - The beginning has some nice clean content with a super-wide soundstage (I expect it may be some Q-sound processing) and about half way in a beat starts that appears to be ~35Hz and ~55Hz.

Try the "Pipes Rhode Island" CD. Great stuff if you like pipe organ (Yes, I do).

Sneakers, movie soundtrack.
Can't remember exact track number, but REL recommends it for
subwoofer set up. Continuously repeated low note...

The 2 bassiest types of electronic music are drum and bass as well as dubstep. Room rattling and textured basslines. Best music to test bass that I've come across.

Tracy Chapman - Tracy Chapman - "Mountains O' Things" - vinyl
Yello - Yello One Second - The entire album has great bass, try "Hawaiian Chance" or "Oh Yeah" - vinyl
Mikey Hart - Planet Drum - "Temple Caves" - CD
Ron Carter Quartet - Piccolo - "Saguaro" - vinyl

I noted the recordings I have on vinyl because I haven't heard the CD versions but they could be worth checking out.

Might want to check out Lee Ritenour's "OVERTIME"
I use to check out amazon.ca,but you can't sample the recordings,
so i went to amazon.com and you can sample the recordings and then order from
amazon.ca(canadian)Way cheaper.Lots of great bass content if you like this style.

Thunder by S.M.V.: The group's name comes from the initials of each of its members, Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, and Victor Wooten. Marcus Miller (bass clarinet, synthesizer, electric bass); Stanley Clarke (acoustic bass, electric bass) and Victor Wooten (electric bass).

Bass, bass, and more bass. And it is a wonderful album. These guys are masters having fun showing how bass is all you need to make music. My Songtowers love cranking out these guys.

Some movies like U-571, the Matrix, Master and Commander have devastating bass.

Eberhardt Weber: Silent Feet, Yellow Fields (ECM) - bass

Not sure they are in the scale of the other recommendations, but are fairly strong on bass content.

I remember Harry Pearson mentioning hearing the London subway on "Concertino for Harpsichord and String Orchestra".

You would have to use Google to find out what album he used.

That Pipes Rhode Island cd I mentioned has all manner of outside the building noises that are at times very distracting, including truck and bus traffic, etc. The good news is there is some very good music to go with all that racket
