I have a friend that I brought over to my condo to listen to some LP's. She has schizophrenia and a few other mental illnesses. She now has the functionality of a 2 1/2 year old on drugs. She is often unresponsive and will usually answer with one garbled word. I put on Boz Scaggs and then Hugh Masekela. She picked up a Thomas Kincade art book and started reading it! She asked me what year it was. I told her it was 2009. She said, "I thought it was 2008. Time flies!" You could have blown me away with a feather. That which was dead is now alive! It is incredible the power of Dr. Salk's Vaccine!
