Sticking relay !!!

Why did I not think of that at the time I had mine............

IF it is that it should NOT be considered an "issue" or "fault". If it happens all the time then its a fault.......

HI Dan,

Mikes input:

In that case, the BP25 was probably just not coming out of mute automatically.  It doesn't say -did Dan try to manually un-mute it.  The light on the MPS1 will be red if the pre is muted.

Actually, I  never touched anything it just came on, stayed on for about a half hour and then turned green! Both the MPS-1 and the BP-20 were red.

Thanks James. Everything seems to be working fine at this present time and I am not worried about it. If it happens again, I will let you know. Thanks.

I had (what sounds like) a similar problem with a BP-25. For awhile it was intermittent: sometimes it wouldn't come out of mute and sometimes it would; eventually it wouldn't come out of mute at all. Sent it in to Bryston, mute switch was replaced; no problems since then.

Only did it the one time so far! If it does it again I will keep what you mentioned in mind. Thanks!
