hi all & Herr Klaus,
i just got a second hand stratos standard model from Canada.
it is a pre owned by David Pike; Serial Number: 2842.
in order to operate it, i had to change the ac line to 230va as for Europe use.
the dc offset at the out put is more then 10mv not stable.
do i have to re bias it; can you help me with some procedure; i can't send this huge amp over to you and check it over. i am asking for some help

 hello to you ... :wink: I am not an expert in electricity  :oops: , but what I can tell you is that in europe, devices work in 220 / 240 volt 60 hz ... and at home, 110 volts, "" 50 "" hz ... !  :roll:
Also be careful about that, when you will converssion!!  :o
that's why I do not buy, unfortunately, other U.S. ...  :(
I'm not sure either converssion "" well done ""...  :roll:
what do you think?

Who uses 50Hz? Not the US. Some parts of Japan use 50Hz, other parts of Japan use 60Hz but other than that I've not heard of 50Hz being used.

Hi,

Australia has 240 voltage 50 hz.

Seems to me that like the metric system (which of course the US should have adopted ages ago) it would be so much better for the world to adopt one power standard. Since I like large lathes, tablesaws, and the like, something like 240/60 would be fine!
