I am the original owner of a wonderfully kept pair of natural cherry Thiel 3.6's. They were sent back to Thiel in 2004 for a complete check up and passed with flying colors. Only the dust grills were replaced with new ones. There is one small bit of damage to the bottom particle board on one speaker(not visible when speakers are upright), otherwise they are in prestine condition and perfect sonic working order. I Just bought the CS3.7's and don't want to hassle shipping these. So, for local pick up or delivery within 150 miles, I will let these beauties go for $1,000. That's a steal and the price is firm.
