How much feedback/distortion is on this CD? For some of their others, I've never finished listening to certain songs.  I RUN to the remote to fast forward through those.  I can't see buying another CD where I can't stand several of their songs on the CD.

Wow, I don't find this to be the case at all.

I am with the other guys...this is very easy to listen to.

After a few listens now I'm ready to commit. This is an excellent album. I have a feeling it will become my favorite Wilco album, replacing "A Ghost Is Born."
I don't think I gave "Sky Blue Sky" an opportunity to shine for me.

Very little, in fact I wish there was more.

i like it a lot,Also one of the more consistently good bands to come along in awhile, instead of the much more common dreck with one or two good  songs per cd

Like it even more a few weeks later. Going to see them at a venue that sits about 850 people next week.

Royal Oak Music Theater tomorrow night (7/21) perhaps?  I'm there as well.

They always put on a great show and we are looking forward to the new songs.  I agree, this album was very easy to get into right from the start.

Went to Wilco's show under the stars in Keyspan Park on Coney Island last week. Great show and a great night. They did two encores and played over 2 hours.

Wilco (The Album) might just be their best yet and will be in all the end of year best album lists.  The album is more assessable than some of the others and maybe Jeff Tweedy is moving more towards conventional songs, but they are the greatest band in the world so lets just enjoy.

I just picked up the vinyl LP...180 - 200 gram very heavy and well pressed, with a heavy poly liner inner sleeve and a separate sleeve with pictures of the band, etc.  Sounds good too, not compressed like some recent vinyl...oh, and it does include the CD in a little cardboard holder with the album cover art on it.  All in all a very nice package for under $20. :thumb:

I've totally fallen in love with this album.  "I'll Fight" might be the best song this band has ever done and that is saying quite a bit.

Wilco's music is so understated and their hooks are so different from any rock band I've heard.  It has always taken a few listens for me to wrap my brain around each of there albums, but when I finally get it, I fall in love all over again.

They, along with their new album, are just fantastic!  I just hope they continue to play medium to small venues.  There's nothing like a live show at a good, small venue!

i've seen them 3 times. . .I'm sure the 4th will be coming soon (and probably 5th. . .KC and STL)
