The Hangover

Surprised not to see a thread on The Hangover yet. I believe it is the fastest comedy to ever reach $100 Million. We saw it last night. While it certainly may not be for everyone, we thought it was Hilarious!!  :rotflmao: We have been quoting lines non-stop today. I would certainly recommend it to anyone not too easily offended for a very good time  :thumb:

I'm making the 2.5 hour drive next week for a matinee of the new Transformer movie in IMAX. Being this is a 11:45am start and I always like to fit a double feature into an afternoon to make the drive worthwhile, I was thinking about The Proposal for the second feature. Maybe I'll go with The Hangover instead even tho my first impression from all the TV previews was that it was sort of a stupid movie. My mentailty is well suited for these types of off-color humor flicks if it truely that funny. aa

Cheers,
Robin

I saw The Proposal a few days ago w/ my wife; not a bad chick-flick. Not a knock, but it is what it is. Actually, I gained new respect for Sandra Bullock as an actress.

Saw The Hangover w/ my wife two weeks ago (I was surprised no one had mentioned it then). In some parts we had tears in our eyes. Walking out of the theater my wife said she could see it again, right then, and was talking about buying the video when it comes out. I wouldn't be surprised if we go see it again. Definitely not for those that get their panties in a bunch. It's about a bachelor party; what do you expect?

I've heard so many good things but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Spent money on The Proposal instead..bad decision..

My wife and mother in law are both movie buffs- they see everything. Leslie's mom saw it twice, and we finally got out last weekend to see it. We loved it. It was hilarious! Leslie ended up seeing it again yesterday after work with some friends.

Anyone who goes to see the Proposal over the Hangover, unless under the influence of the opposite sex, should lose their man card!

When I saw The Hangover there were a lot of women and couples there so I guess it's not viewed as just a guy movie and maybe even a date movie.  Good mindless gross fun, I'll have another serving.  Can't have enough comedies IMO, people need to laugh more, even at stupid stuff sometimes.

Well i watched The Hangover today, what a dumba$$ movie. But I can't remember the last time I laughed so damn much thru a whole movie. The whole theater was in stitches, no one was holding back. I would have made a dire mistake of skipping this movie if I hadn't seen this thread. :thumb:

I would rate this movie a 2.5 out of 5 star for what it is and a 5 out of 5 star for the total outlandish laughter factor. Don't miss the closing credits.

Cheers,
Robin
