N2X external crossovers and cabinets
«

Decided to put the N2X crossovers in an external box. Going to use the Parts Express 0.25cuft cherry cabinets to match my larger 0.5cuft boxes.
Here are some pictures of the PE box before any work. Will use it in this orientation with outputs on either side of the cabinet to minimize electrical interaction. The cherry veneered side will face the listener with the connections to the speaker. The black baffle side will have the input from the amp.

Cool idea, a bit overkill IMO but not something that really costs you too much. The Neutrik Speakon connections or whatever they're called are very nice looking and convenient.

I second the speakon connectors. Very easy to put together and implement.

Thanks for the inputs on the Neutrik Speakon connectors. I already have 6 pairs of Dayton 5-way binding posts to install. This way I can use stock speaker cables for testing.
Will get to try the Speakon's when the open baffle sub cabinets arrive.
