What about IA7V2 with Fostex FE108E Sigma DIY project, like this?

Did somebody try it?

Hello Nedo,

I have experience with a similar setup. My pair of FE108Esigma drivers are in this Fostex backhorn design for the FE103e:

My build is to the plan except the the side panels are double thick.

I built these during my single ended triode amp experments. I was disappointed. They sounded very good just not enough better in the bass to justify the extra cost and work on the back horn over a smaller stand mount reflex box.

Some time (years) later and I hooked them up to one of my ACG 1000 amps.

WOW

Now we have bass worthy of all the effort that goes into a back horn. And of course the great phase coherent sound one goes to a driver like the FE108Esigma for.

So if you are drawn to the full range driver sound do try them with class D amps.
