5U4G pins 5 or 4???
« on: 17 Jun 2009, 09:04 pm »
I bought an Emission Labs 5U4G for my Yamamoto A-09.  Came in today and it only has 4 pins and the 5U4G I pulled has 5 pins.  Any ideas if this will work??

Don't worry about it. The 5U4G series has 4 electrical connections: 2 Plate & 2 Filament.

Hi Blackmore!  :D

Well, now that you've had a month to let things settle in, how are you enjoying your EML 5U4G? Can you give a brief description of the change in sound?

I was also wondering,,,,,, which 5U4 did it replace, and which 300Bs do you use in your amp? Thanks for sharing the info if you can.
