I understand that Mike has surgery scheduled for tomorrow. Let's all keep him in our thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery.

Err... thanks. This certainly caught me by surprise, I had forgotten Paul knew about it. I appreciate the kind thoughts.

To answer the question, they are going to detach my left tendon, open up the ankle and clean up the joint and fix a few other things while they are there. Not much fun but hopefully worth it. With any luck I'll be on crutches for at least a couple months, so hopefully I'll be mostly normal by RMAF in October.

Best wishes Mike.  A temporary lack of mobility sounds like a good excuse to listen to more tunes and relax.  :)

Good wishes to you Mike.  Glad it's nothing serious.  Should give you a lot of time to tinker and listen.
