Remote access SB3 - can cycle power?
« on: 4 Jun 2009, 12:57 pm »
I have been using the SB3 with a laptop, or my Blackberry, as the remote for some time now.

I have never noticed if this can be done, but another AC member reached out to me to ask about it - can you turn off the power of the SB3 remotely?

How?

Thanks guys,

Rasta

Well, if you're using squeezecenter, there is always the power button in the upper right-hand corner of web page.

The Squeezebox doesn't have a true power off.  "Off" is only a standby state.  The best you might do is find is a way to reboot the device, but I don't recall that I've ever seen a way to do it.  Possibly with a pluggin.
